 | Step :1 Soak bengal gram for 3 hours.

 | Step 2: 
 Grind bengal gram with red chili and little salt.sprinkle little water while grinding.(Do not add more water to grind).

 | Step 3: 
 Chop small onions finely as like shown in the figure..Add this to the grounded bengal gram.

 | Step 4: 
 Mix it well and make  small balls.
 |   | 
 | Step 5: Steam these balls in  an idly pot or steamer.
 |   | 
 | Step 6: Heat oil in a pan.add clove,bay leaf,cinnamon seeds and fennel seeds.Saute it for 2 min.
 |   | 
 | Step 7: Then add chopped onions first,then tomato and ginger garlic paste one by one.saute it well till the raw smell goes out.Then add turmeric powder,chili powder and salt.Add 1 and half cup of water and let it allow to boil.
 |   | 
 | Step 8:
 Now take the steamed balls and crumbled it.Add this to the above.Extract coconut milk from the scrubbed coconut.Add this to the above.Let it allow to boil till the gravy thickens.

 | Vadacurry is now ready to serve.
