GREEN PEAS MASALA

Recipe Highlights
One of the tastiest side dish for chappathi
Ingredients Cooking Time :  30 Mins
Green peas – 1 cup
Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Tumeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Oil – 3 tablespoon
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Mint and Coriander leaves

Method
Step :1
Soak the green peas overnight and cook it in a pressure cooker with enough water for 2  whistles.
Chop the onion and tomato.
Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add onion, saute it with little salt. when it comes to transparent add ginger garlic paste and fry it till the raw smell goes off.
Now add the tomatoes.Fry it for few minutes.Add turmeric powder, chili powder and salt and fry it for  5 minutes in a medium flame.Add some mint leaves and fry it for minute.(optional)
Switch OFF the flame and let it cool down for some times.Put them in a mixer and make a fine paste.

Step 2:

Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.Then add the grinded paste.(Reduce the flame to low. )
Add garam masala and green peas and let them boil for 10 minutes in a low heat.
Finally add some coriander leaves.

Green peas masals is now ready to serve.

VEGETABLE PASTA INDIAN STYLE

Recipe Highlights
Healthy pasta for Kids.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 15 Mins
Onion – 1/4
Tomato – 1 
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli sauce – 1 to 2 teaspoon
Tomato ketchup – 2 teaspoon
Pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Your Favorite Vegetables – 1/2 cup (Carrot,beans,capsicum)
Salt - to taste
Elbow Pasta – 1 cup
coriander leaves

Method
Step :1
Finely Chop all the vegetables.
Heat oil in a pan,add onions and saute it with little salt.then add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.Then add tomatoes and fry till it mushy.
Now add all the vegetables and fry it for 5 to 7 minutes.Then add chilli sauce,tomato ketchup and mix it well.Finally add pepper powder and coriander leaves and mix it.

Step 2:

Boil water in a pan with a teaspoon of oil and salt.Now add the pasta and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or as per the package instructions.
Drain the water and mix it with the vegetable mixture.

Vegetable Pasta is now ready to serve.

VEGETABLE HAKKA NOODLES

Recipe Highlights
Vegetable hakka noodles is an indo-chinese recipe with mixed vegetables.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 25 Mins
Hakka Noodles – 1 pocket
Your Favorite vegetables
Here I have used Carrot - 1
Beans - 10
Capsicum - 1
Cabbage – 1/4
Onion – 1
Salt - to taste
Soya sauce – 1 teaspoon
Chilli garlic sauce or chilli sauce – 2 teaspoon
Pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Spring onion - 2

Method
Step :1
Chop the vegetables as shown in figure.
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute it with little salt.Then add chopped spring onion and saute it for a minute.Then add all the vegetables  on a high flame and saute it till half way cooked.
Then add soya sauce and chilli garlic sauce and fry it for a minute.Add pepper powder and salt.

Step 2: 

In the mean time,heat water in a pan with little and salt and oil.
When it comes to boiling stage add the noodles and cook according the package instructions.
Drain and rinse the noodles in running water,so that the noodle stop cooking.
Then add oil and gently mix,so that the oil gets coated on the noodles.Keep the noodles aside.
Finally add the hakka noodles in the vegetable mixture and toss it on a high flame.
Garnish it with spring onion.

PANEER TIKKA MASALA

Paneer Tikka masala is a rich side dish for chapati and pulav varieties.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 50 Mins
For Paneer Marination
Paneer – 400 gms
Oil – 2 to 4 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Thick Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Redchilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Capsicum - 1
Salt - to taste
For Gravy
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Onion – 1/4
Cinnamon sticks - 2
Cloves - 3
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Redchilli powder – 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
Kasoori Methi – 1 teaspoon
Fresh cream – 1/2 cup
Oil – 2 teapoon
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves


Method
Step :1
Chop onion,tomato,capsicum and paneer into big pieces.Combine Yogurt,one teaspoon oil,ginger garlic paste chilli powder,coriander powder,lemon juice,garam masala,salt. mix it  with onion,tomato,capsicum and paneer. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2: 

Heat a pan with 3 teaspoon of oil and fry the paneer,onion,capsicum and tomato, both sides  till golden brown.Keep it aside.

Step 3:

Heat oil in pan,add cinnamon sticks,cloves and onion and saute till it becomes transparent.Then add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.
Add the tomato puree,add all the spices(chilli powder,kasoori methi,cumin powder)and salt.
When the mixture oozes out oil add little water,bring it to boil.
Finally add fresh cream.Add the fried paneer,onion,tomato and capsicum.Garnish it with coriander leaves
