CURRY LEAF RICE/KARIVEPPILAI SATHAM

Curry leaf rice is more easy to prepare.Before that i always waste curry leaves.My friend introduced this dish.After tasting this,i never waste curry leaves.Now it is one of our lunch box menu.Here i has given step by step pictures to prepare curry leaf rice.

LADIES FINGER PACHADI



                                Ladies finger pachadi always prepare at festival times in our family.This is well going with rasam.It is more tasty and colorful.And also easy to prepare.Try this and enjoy.


Ingredients
  1. Ladies finger – 300 g
  2. Tomato – 2 (small size)
  3. Onion – 2 (Medium size)
  4. Chili powder - 1 tsp
To Temper
  1. Oil – 2 tsp
  2. Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
  3. Fenugreek – 1/2 tsp
To Grind
  • Scrubbed coconut – 1 tbsp
  • Small onion- 3
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
Method of Preparation
1.First chopped onion,ladies finger and  tomato finely as shown in the figure

2.Grind all the ingredient mentioned below to Grind.

3.In  a pan heat some oil, add mustard and Fenugreek seeds.
4. When it spluttered add chopped Onions, Tomato and Ladies Finger one by one.Saute it for few seconds.

5. When the onion comes into transparent color, add half cup of water. Add chili powder and  a pinch of salt when it is half cooked.

6. Add the Ground paste at the end of the time. Switch off the flame.Check the pachadi is in semi solid level.

7.Now vendakkai pachadi is ready to serve. It is a perfect side dish for  Rasam.
