| Step :1 Heat the pan with oil and add mustard and urad dal to it. | |
| Step 2: Add onion,turmeric powder,hing and curry leaves. Saute it for 5 mins. | |
| Step 3: Add tomato and saute it for few mins. Add water and cook it. | |
| Step 4: Grind the ingredients given under the section"to grind"column and mix it with the contents of the pan. Boil it for 5 min. | |
| Step 5: Finally add salt and coriander leaves. | |
| Tomato kichadi is ready to serve with Idli or Dosa Recipes | |
