VEGETABLE KURMA METHOD 2 (WHITE KURMA)


Recipe Highlights
This is vegetable gravy/ kurma made in very easy method without oil or any masala power.This kurma goes well with roti and chappathi.This vegtable gravy also called as white kurma.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 15 - 25 Mins
Carrot-1 cup
Beans-1 cup
Onion-1 medium size
Tomato-1 1/2
Green peas-1 cup
Potato-1
(You can add your favorite vegetable. e.g Cauliflower, broccoli)
Coriander and mint leaves -small amount
Salt –to taste

Scrubbed Coconut – 4 tsp
Green chilli – 3 to 4
Fennel seeds-1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts-1 teaspoon
Ginger  and garlic paste-1 teaspoon

Method
Step :1
Chop all the vegetables. Cook it in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles.

Step 2:

Grind the ingredients given above in the column “To Grind”.

Step 3:

Mix the coconut mixture into the cooked vegetables and boil it in a low flame for 15 minutes.Add some salt.

Step 4:

Finally add some coriander and mint leaves and switch off the flame.

Vegetable Kurma is now ready to serve with chapatti.

ONION TOMATO UTHAPPAM

Ingredients
 Dosa Batter
 Tomato –1 finely chopped
 Onion –1 finely chopped
 Coriander leaves – small amount finely chopped
 Oil or ghee – 1/2 tsp
 Method
Chop the tomatoes and deseed it.Chop the onion .Heat the dosa pan and pour the dosa batter. Spread some tomatoes,onion and coriander leaves and drizzle some oil or ghee around the dosa and cook it in a medium flame for 2 minutes or till gets golden color

Flip it over the dosa and cook it for another 2 minutes or till tomatoes  and onion
gets golden in color.

Now onion tomato uthappam is ready to serve with chutney or Idli podi.
