POORI

Recipe Highlights
I used both wheat flour and all purpose flour if u want you can use any of the flour to make poori.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 20 Mins
Whole Wheat flour – 1 cup
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Oil – 2 teaspoon
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – for frying

Method
Step :1
Mix flour,salt and oil in a bowl.Then add water little at a time and make smooth dough.Apply a teaspoon of oil over the top of the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.(Don’t rest it for more than 10 minutes)

Step 2:

Make equal size of balls .Dust it with little flour and roll it out into circles using rolling pin.
Heat oil in a pan,check whether the oil is hot or not, by putting a small piece of dough,if it  comes up to the surface immediately  ,then put the poori’s  on by one and slightly press the poori using ladle so that it will puff up.Flip it other side and fry till golden brown.Remove it from the oil and place it in the paper towel to drain excess oil.

Poori is now ready to serve with chana masala or aloo masala.

BLACK BEAN MASALA

Recipe Highlights
One of the healthiest side dish for chapatti.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 30 Mins
Black Bean – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Tomato –1
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – 2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Redchilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala  powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves

Method
Step :1

Soak black bean for over night and cook it in a pressure cooker for 4 to 5 whistles.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds then add onions and saute it with little salt.When it comes to transparent add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.
Then add Turmeric powder and fry it.Then add tomatoes and cook till it gets mushy consistency.

Step 2: 

Add chilli powder and mix it .Then add black beans and mix it  well.If u want  you can  add little water and cook it for 5 minutes.
Finally add garam masala powder,salt and coriander leaves.

Black Bean Masala  is now ready to serve.
