       | Step :1 soak tamarind in 2 cups of hot water for half an hour

       | Step 2: 
 Chop small onions finely.

       | Step 3: 
 Then grind all the chilies here and there.(without adding water).

       | Step 4: Heat 4 to 5 tsp of oil in a pan.Add chopped onions first. saute it for few seconds.

       | Step 5: Now add the ground chili paste into it.Saute it well.
 |   | 
       | Step 6: Extract the tamarind water from the soaked tamarind and discard the pulp.Add the tamarind water into the above.Add sufficient salt into it.Stir it now and then.

       | Step 7: Let it allow to boil till the gravy thickens.

       | Puli milaga  is now ready to serve.
